Delete your Vigiu account

Updated October 31, 2026.

You can delete your Vigiu account at any time, from the app or, if you no longer have access to it, by email. Deletion covers the whole account, on every device.

From the app

iPhone: Settings › Account › Delete account…
Android: Settings › Account › Delete account…
Mac: Settings › Remote access › Account › Delete account…

The app explains what will be deleted and asks you to confirm. On iPhone and Android, if the biometric lock is on, it asks for Face ID, your fingerprint or your screen lock first. Then the device signs out and forgets the paired Macs.

The apps are currently in Portuguese, where the button reads Apagar conta… under Ajustes › Conta.

Without access to the app

Email support@vigiu.com from your account’s address, saying which provider you signed in with (Apple, Google or GitHub). We confirm the request is yours, delete the account and reply within 15 days.

What is deleted

the account: its identifier, name and email;
the sign-ins linked to it (Apple, Google and GitHub);
the sessions on every device, which are signed out;
the Macs registered for remote access with the account, along with pairing invites and the phones’ notification tokens. Paired phones lose access right away.

This can’t be undone. If you sign in again later, it’s a new account with nothing from the old one.

What is not deleted

Conversations, history, settings and Flows live on your Mac and never went through us: they stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app. What you sent to AI providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google and others) follows each provider’s rules. The website’s download count isn’t linked to anyone.

Timing

From the app: the account is removed from the server immediately.
By email: within 15 days.
Backups: the server’s daily backups hold at most the last 90 days; after that, none of our copies hold the deleted account’s data.
